Harmar Donates 2 Pinnacle Stair lifts to an Inspiring 10-Year Old Boy

Earlier this year, the Harmar team learned of a 10-year old boy, Daneroy Lawrence and his goal to participate in the New York City Triathlon, one of the largest and best-known in the United States.  Daneroy who is considered a Bilateral Above the Knee amputee, has exhibited the extraordinary ability to overcome his disabilities of having no hip on one side and the other leg amputated above the knee.  With the help and guidance of world-class amputee athlete Amy Palmiero-Winters, they participated in the grueling New York City Triathlon this past Summer.
“Yesterday I heard the roar of thousands of cheering spectators; saw the tears of those who were inspired and amazed beyond belief at one boy’s courage.” Says Amy Palmiero-Winters, Programs Director, A Step Ahead Prosthetics.   Amy continues,For Daneroy this was about being able to live his life like normal, to gain the strength to wear his legs everyday and walk around. All of this was to get him to the starting line in life and give him the tools to get stronger and create dreams for his future.”

Harmar is honored to have been asked to donate our Pinnacle Stair Lift product to this amazing boy, helping him to move about his home comfortably!
Congratulations Daneroy on your recent accomplishment!

  1. That's good news; I like this one very much. It is more content oriented than the usual ones I find these days. And the best part is the simplicity in your post and the language you use in this.

  2. I would like to appreciate him by doing this. By giving stair lifts to the needy person, he has done remarkable job.

  3. Sometimes we have to wait for the things we want to do the right; impossible in these days and age for some to appreciate doing it right like Harmar started on the right path. It has gone a long way in helping some of disabilities. So I would recommend Pinnacle Stair Lift as a good stair lift for most stairways to helping disabilities.
